Experienced Diver Job Details: Full-Time

Travel: up to 75%, in most cases relocation not required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safety of every member of the dive team including self and others by maintaining safe equipment and work environment and at all times.

  • Execution of field work including underwater construction, repairs, and safety inspections.

  • Manage expectations of teammates and clients alike, keeping all apprised of current project circumstances and challenges.

  • Quickly and effectively communicate job specific items such as schedule, project changes, safety concerns to management, dive team, and clients.

  • Develop and/or maintain and implement emergency & contingency procedures.

  • Conduct detailed dive team briefings to ensure that all personnel have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities throughout the dive operation.

Technical Skills

  • Ability to cut and weld steel, using underwater welding/burning equipment, jigs, and supports.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, mentor, and develop newer teammates.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with teammates, colleagues, and clients.

  • Able to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all situations, on work sites and off.

Educational Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ADCI Commercial Dive School.

  • US Navy First, Second Class Diver or Master Diver.
