Our Foundation Stays.
Our Capabilities Grow.
Underwater Construction Corporation (UCC) is entering its next stage of growth with a strategic investment from Crescentia Capital, in partnership with Graham Capital Investments (GCI).
The investment provides UCC with additional resources to accelerate organic growth, expand capacity, increase geographic reach, and invest in technology and people.
What Isn’t Changing Is Just as Important as What Is
UCC remains the company customers have known and trusted for more than five decades. Our leadership, people, technical expertise and commitment to safety, quality and excellence remain at the heart of the organization.
Raymond W. Palumbo will continue as President and CEO, supported by UCC’s experienced leadership team, project supervisors and commercial divers. Together, they will continue to lead our work and serve our customers.
Founded in 1969, UCC has grown into a leading provider of specialized underwater services, with more than 225 certified commercial divers and seven regional offices across the United States. Our capabilities span underwater inspection, cleaning, repair and maintenance, underwater welding, specialty coatings, carbon fiber structural wrapping and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operations.
Expanding Our Ability to Serve Our Customers
This investment creates new opportunities for UCC to strengthen the services our customers rely on while preparing to meet the demands of the future. Our priorities include:
- Our People — supporting the experienced divers, project teams and leaders who make UCC what it is.
- Technology and Equipment — expanding the tools and resources available to perform increasingly sophisticated underwater work.
- Regional Support — strengthening our ability to provide responsive, localized service to customers across the country.
- Expanded Services — broadening the specialized expertise available to customers across critical infrastructure markets.
- Sustainable Growth — advancing organic growth and pursuing strategic acquisitions that complement UCC’s capabilities and increase the value we can provide.
Building on Our Foundation
Since 1969, UCC has grown by taking on challenging work, developing specialized expertise, and earning the trust of customers who depend on us. This new investment gives us the resources to build on that foundation – expanding our capacity while staying true to what has made UCC successful.
